As a Painter at Frontier-Kemper, reporting to Brent Hemmer, Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Description:
Prep and paint Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products
Prep and paint refurbished and repaired equipment
Apply paint or other finishes to paint surface using an automotive spray gun generally.
Apply paint or other finishes to paint surface with a roller or brush as needed.
Grind, sand, and apply bondo
Keep inventory and order paint/paint products as needed.
Responsible for the general cleanliness and organization of the paint shop and surrounding area.
Responsible for maintaining all EPA records as they relate to the Paint Shop
Operate a forklift and other light mobile equipment as needed.
Fill in as a yard laborer as needed.
Requirements:
Attention to detail
Must be able to wear Tyvek coveralls and wear a full face respirator
Must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs/ladders, and lift over 50 lbs
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience with automotive spray gun or related
Familiarity with construction related equipment preferred
